Please read these guidelines carefully. If your article does not meet these guidelines, it will not be published. Deadlines are the first of the month prior to publishing. The deadline for submissions is the first of each month, your writing will be published the first of the next month if it is accepted.
Send your submissions to the Rafael Velez, the Submissions Editor. General Inquiries can be directed here.
Articles must be in English.
Approval is required for articles with a large ammount of special formatting (tables, graphics, etc.).
If you must use trademarked names in your writing, credit the original source, with a link if possible.
Articles that are not spell checked and/or contain poor grammar will be refused.
We do not publish PBeM's or gaming systems.
The RPG Times may refuse articles deemed not suitable for other reasons.
The editor reserves the right to edit and/or remove gratuitous explicit material or return it for re-writing.
The writer will retain all copyright to any submissions.

Technical Specifications
PLEASE: Include your real name and email on the top of each article!
Documents should be submitted in word *.doc, *.rtf, or plain text format. If you are using MS Word, please turn off "Smart Quotes" (TOOLS ---> AUTOCORRECT --->AUTOFORMAT AS YOUR TYPE tab ----> TURN OFF "Replace Straight Quotes with Smart Quotes"). Please also DELETE the entry to change the "..." in word to three dots close together. It can be found TOOLS ---> AUTOCORRECT --->AUTOCORRECT tab - fourth from the top or so - just delete it. These MUST be turned off because they greatly hinder conversion to HTML, and cause the technical department headaches.
Please do not indent your paragraphs, leave a space between them instead. This makes for easier conversion into HTML.
Please do not submit your work in HTML. If you do this, it will be returned to you.
Documents should not be submitted in the body of an email message unless prior arrangements have been made with the Submissions Editor.
Word Limits: the maximum word limit for Columns is 2,500 words; for Fiction, the minimum number of words is 2,500, the maximum is 5,000.
These guidelines may change from time to time, we reserve the right to add and revise as we see fit. The RPG Times reserves the right to not publish everything we receive.
The RPG Times does not accept material which is discriminatory or derogatory in nature against any group or individual. This includes religious preference, marital status, race, handicap, or physical appearance.
